Just found a chevrolet van with a 292 inline 6 with power steer. under the hood is option list and it has factory installed ps. When removed pump and brackets it was plain to see that the bracket had been cut with electric saw to accept pump . Bracket is painted black and well as all the others, looks like GM original paint. Does anyone know whether or not this is how these were fit at the factory? Parts are being degreased as of now and will try to post pictures later. The bracket was not butchered but rather cut with some precision.
