Is there a particular reason you want to use a 4-link suspension?

The factory 2-link trailing arm arrangement on 60's-72's works quite well. The biggest improvement can be made by just getting a lower COG (center of gravity).

Air bags are easily adapted & not only ride well, they can be adjusted so you can use your truck as a truck (not that you couldn't do the same w/a 4-link).
