After all the talk for the last couple of years about doing Hot Rod Power Tour I finally did it this year. We went to the Goodguys show in Indy Fri, Sat and Sunday, took a tour of the Auburn/Cord /Dusenburg Museum on Monday and picked up Power Tour on Tuesday in Norwalk, Ohio. Wednesday on to Crown Point, Indiana, Thursday Bettendorf, Iowa and Friday, Wisconsin Dells. The truck ran great, I installed a new speedometer when the crate engine was installed, changed out the break in oil with 175 miles on the odometer and headed out. We returned with 1700+ miles on the odometer, these things are WAY more fun to drive than to use as garage art, as I had for several years!
