I cant speak for 3600# but at under 2800 with me it made the truck a ton better . I lost a bit in 60' and it tamed down the wheelies . Tons more consistant the witha th350 or 400 ( i have had both in it ) . A factory 1.82 will not last at your weight and a 1.76 will be marginal at best so if your buyning a gear set anyway just buy a 1.96 or some where areount 2.0 . My transmission guy told me 9.03 first was the goal .Take that for what it is worth .
