Just keep in mind the load from the braking is taken through the contact between the caliper and the spindle an this fit needs to be close and square. The bolts should never carry the load. I would never grind this fit. The only correct fix is to set it up and do it in a mill. If they were mine I would be on the phone with CPP and have them test fit a new set with a caliper and send them to you and send the others back. Being off between 1/16 and 1/8 of an inch is crazy. This is a safety issue and never be acceptable to ship crap like this.
