Re: Drop in fuel pump for tank in cab?

In cab fuel pump would be crazy noisy! I have some experience with the overheating pumps and there is a cure. On all sorts of old cars I figured out that as long as my pump stayed flooded they would last. On an old rear engine car I had the lowered pump was running for about 15 years and when I sold it was still running that pump. Just make sure the pump is super flooded by putting it as low as safely and practically possible and the pump shouldn't overheat. Remember that closer to the tank is going to keep better and stronger flooding on the pump.
