I have a 79 GMC with a good 400 small block. The GMC is loaded but the body is trash. There is a 86 short bed 4x4 in town with a bad motor and lots of stuff missing like the AC parts. Questions are: can I use the 79 AC parts on the 86? Does the 86 have computer? I can't remember what year started computer controls in pickups. Any help would be great.
