so here's an addition: I tried installing the fasteners again last night, it didn't go so well. The fastener in the picture, the plastic is way too hard! So what I tried doing is heating the fastener and making it soft. It worked well enough to get them place but I still messed them up. I made my own tool on the lathe.the first tool that I made, the pin was too short on the end of it, so I bent two of them. So then I made another tool that had a longer pin, that was better but these things are still too hard to get in. They're also too long. When you heat them up, they cool down pretty quick, and two of them I had to pound them in and bent the firewall, I got pretty angry cuz the paint got messed up. I tried really hard to find some other type of fastener. I spent 3 hours on the computer looking for something, and most of them there was no dimensions to them that made it difficult.
