Ok...So...If you purchase a Clifford Intake as well...and install a 390 holley or jet down a 500 edelbrock and hei it'll perform a little better. Flowmaster 40 series mufflers sound great. Nice deep tone at idle..and loud angry tone at rpm. Here's a vid of mine, Its an ol worn out 292 with a 600 Edelbrock, CLifford intake and headers and flowmaster exhaust. Its internally stock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoiM0nIA_7c A good HEI would be a Pertronix Ignitor II or an original GM Hei which is available from Landon's Stovebolt.com. The 250 has many options for power...I'd do a little head work to...Bigger intake valves and lump port the head...you feel a good increase there.
