Read the ruleset for sure. Pick a class, and build for the class. Unless you just want to have fun, in which case do what you want - just be prepared to be uncompetitive.

I ran H/Stock in an '86 Civic.

Then F/SP in a '94 Sentra.

Then D/Mod in a Super 7.

My truck will likely be E/Mod because of suspension and frame modifications.
