I had the same challenge after installing my vintage air set up. I simply used a a stock glove box liner and I cut 3-4" off the depth of the liner and used was left to recreate a new back wall of the shortened liner.

It sounds more confusing than it was to accomplish. I will take some pics of mine tomorrow. In the meantime I also installed a cigarette jack in the glove box as well.
