So, I just had the door gap aligned as close to perfect as a 1957 truck could be. Add that I had new Steele brand (premium) door rubber installed.
I can see daylight at the point I marked as well as wind noise.
I just added some premium closed-cell foam on the upper/forward corner, just inside and parallel to the Steele rubber. It isn't noticeable and has reduced noise, somewhat. I will start over and use a longer piece and see if that helps.
