oh i seen this coming careful guys this is a thread on paint dont take it down the wrong road im in the process of doing kinda faux paint job too but in hot rod black mine is just going to look like it was done years ago if you want to do it just paint hot rod black dry sand with 600 grit very lightly then wet sand with 600 grit then dry it and clean it and rub with 0000 steel wool to smooth any orange peel or scratches then you end up with a silky smooth suede look
