I recently saw a thread in the FAQ section about "easy disk brake swap" and it had some interesting info which leads me to believe there is a way. Two members had successfully swapped 88 & 90 spindles, rotors, brakes, ect. directly onto their stock arms. In theory you may be able to use lift spindles for a 88up if you are willing to do the work.
