Most sites give you an RPM range and intended usage guideline. If that doesn't make you feel at ease, the larger parts warehouses have technical staff that can help you make your selection based on other vehicle specs that effect cam choice (gears, stall speed, vehicle weight, etc). Summit, Jegs, PAW all have these people on staff. Personally I really have had good luck making the most HP per $$$ with the Summit Racing brand of camshafts. For your basically stock truck, I'd stick with the 1300 or 1301 kit with lifters for $109.97.
