I asked a similar question a while back and here's answer I got:

If your near or in Sacramento use Ray's Auto Stereo, 1925 "F" St., Sacramento, CA 95811. (916) 447-9753. I just had them fix my stock AM radio and re-cone the stock speaker. Works like new. They are a little slow, took about six weeks, to get them back and a little pricey but they work great. They fix any old stereo/speaker. Good Luck

I have no experience with them and ended up going a different route.
