"There never was a federal standard mandating the size of the rear glass in any pickup truck" I have to agree with this statement, if there were you wouldn't be able to load a pickup blocking the back window. heck, you could drive for a year with the back window blocked with stuff and never be ticketed. what about a slide in camper, no law about it blocking the rear window as long as you had side mirrors....
