I had a chance to look at all my new but old boxes of when I tore down my k-member and replaced all the parts.I used the same k6024 moog problem solver upper ball joints with those same Mcgauhys spindles and it all worked out.I believe you either have later model McGaughy's spindles which require the larger upper and lower drift ball joints, the 63-70's are a smaller drift/pin ball joint than the later ones used in 70-up...The upper ball joints you have pictured appear to be different in size...
