The 3rd seat in Suburbans, Escalades, maybe Yukons & Tahoes are thinner in the butt & back areas and sit quite low in design as well. Seen a couple installed in our years on 'net pictures & they look like they offer great room where you are asking for.

Too bad we are not close, as I bo't a set when gathering potential parts for my '66 as I was planning for the build--ended up not using them. Two good things about them: lotsa people NEVER use this 3rd seat, so they often are just like new, and they have built-in shoulder belts. Many even remove & store them to make room for hauling. They come in leather and cloth.

Only con I've noticed is they are potentially on the narrow side. Nonetheless, mine are quite comfy just dry-sitting them on my garage floor. I'm still tempted, at times, to make mounts for them & at least try them. I am only 5'7", but have heavy legs & would like more legroom 'tween seat-top and steering wheel-bottom, even with the tilt st. wheel--I love to drive at times with wheel tilted way low, even in wife's mini-van, Z-28, & ext. cab Sonoma. **Tilt with telescoping would be even greater!

HTH,
Sam
