I'd say a good trailer brake controller is really nice; I have an old proportional Kelsey-Hayes hydraulically-controlled one in my truck. Of course, a good trailer hitch and a selection of hitches/balls is a given to go along with that.

I love my Jr West Coast mirrors with the extra clamp-on convex spot mirrors, too; I can quickly glance and see all my tires (not the fronts, obviously) when in tight spots or on narrow roads.

The mud tires on the back are sub-optimal in the rain, but they are also great to have if/when you need them.

It's also kind of nice to flip the cab marker lights on and let all the numbskulls know that a loaded truck 102" wide is coming at them when it's dark.
mine is staying a step truck there was a fleet truck out there but i have ben wanting a long step since you got yours. trailer hitch is on my wish list and a brake controller. the jr west cost i snagged a set while i was out there just as rusty as the truck. marker lights maybe i have a hard time cutting holes in my trucks even if it is just my beater. on the other hand the roof does have rust above the windshield on the out side. mud tires may happen i did triad my jeep for this thing. thanks for sharing submarine
