I don't know if I have heard of someone re-pigtailing a rear spring, but you can always just heat the entire spring until it collapses to the height that you want.
However, I would recommend just getting lowered rear coil springs. Summit Racing has them for $100 and you can install them in 30 minutes with a little luck. If you can afford No Limit stuff, then I wouldn't sweat the $100 for a temporary fix. I have spent way more on parts just to turn around and replace them for no good reason.
