The only way to be sure of it being 2 or 4 bolt is to pull the oil pan and inspect it.

I've never found solid info on casting numbers. They always offer too great a range.

Check on the front passenger side of the engine just under the head, there may be a partial VIN stamped on it. I've heard some say that is for passenger cars only, so it may not apply.

If it is original to the truck it's a better chance of being a 4-bolt than if it's a transplant from a car.
