I have a 63 with the same combo. The PO added 3.08's. what a dog. the truck runs out of steam going up hills. Rowing the boat the whole way. 2nd/3rd over again.

I was told by Langdons to just put the 3.73's back in and go to a 30% over drive. Adding power on helps on the top end. Got to love that shop. Actually giving good advice and not trying to sell you something first.

On the plus side I am getting 18.4 mpg.
