replaced steering wheel w/a smaller dia. and need to shrink existing shift arm to the new dia. measurement. Want to hedge my bets just in case things go bad with the grinding process, cannot find an arm other than one for a tilt column. My question is are these two items interchangeable? this is on a 77' p/u with a non-tilt column. thanks ahead for the help.
