I'm not sure about that; I have a 72 front crossmember in my truck, and the frames would be otherwise the same afaik. I have the o.e stands, swap plates, and regular sbc mounts (basically what you pictured), and I clear that setup with stock TBSS manifolds.

I did trim a little around the flange for easier access to the bolts, but otherwise they fit. Maybe he meant that non of the truck manifolds would fit, as some folks use GTO, Fbody, and TBSS manifolds with the adapters.

Maybe I missed something, but afaik your swap would go pretty much the same as my '66 was, sans a few wiring differences.
