In its prior life, the front fenders/inner fenders/cab had been welded together in a couple different spots in addition to rusty areas being poorly repaired and covered up. It's solid on the surface but kinda ugly underneath in areas.
If we had another cab/front clip, we would swap this one out...but we don't, soooo, we're going to move ahead with this one, patch where we need to and make the best of it for the time being.
Since the front clip was basically permanently attached to the cab, we thought we should finish the job.
While we're finishing out welding/smoothing the firewall/inner fenders we are going to fill most of the front clip seams...starting with the inner to outer fender seams.
