My Suburban loves a lot of Positive Caster, Mine is set about 5 degrees, That is max while keeping Camber in check on my truck.
I Believe 3/4 tons have more adjustment because of the ride height.

The negative is the tires will talk to you on "Full Lock" turns.

The factory specs don't mean jack, Keep Camber around 0 degrees, Get all the Caster you can, Then set the Toe-In 1/8" to 1/4" total Toe-in works great.

Not many shops will deviate from Specs, They believe their fancy machine & Specs will make your truck drive good, Find an old front end shop with a "Lite-A-Line" & a In-Ground Scrub Meter for Toe-In.
