Looks fine, and if its factory I wouldn't worry. There is a lock washer on the nut and it is a tapered fit as mentioned.
If you are unsure and want to check it, the nut should be tightened to about 185 ft-lbs for proper seating of the pitman arm on the tapered splines. I just put one on my S-10 and it is almost exactly the same setup that is on my C-10
