Re: Window tint
Here in SoCal tint is cheap. Most places will do a window for $30-40 each. It would take them about 30 mins max to do it at a shop.
I've done a little DIY tinting. It is a good way to test your patience.
To answer the original questions, I like SolarGuard film. I think its made by 3M. it has never turned purple on me. But I like it because its a little "thicker" and easier to install.
