If you decide to lower the pressure its easy. All you have to do is remove the plus behind the pump where the high pressure line comes in. You can shorten the spring or get the shim kit from someone like summit. Both ways will lower the pressure. If you get the kit you can add washers to give it a try. If it is not enough you can add some more.
