Well, I've had a relapse
Just bought a 71 2wd for $700! No motor or trans, but the tubs better than I'm used to. Has the same old rocker rot, but the floors and supports are nice.
Gonna be a couple of weeks before it gets here (since I have to pay the guy the rest of his $
) but he's even delivering it! Saw the ad in the tradin post and when I called, it turned out to be the same guy I sold my 72 K5 4x4 to! Small world for us truck-heads I guess. He's swappin me a 67 doghouse for the 71's and even throwin in a decent pair of doors. I'll post some pics upon arrival. We'll call those the 'before's, even though the 'afters' might be a few years down the road. Yup, the blazerholism's got me by the short hair's again!!!
P.S. I might be chiming in on the 'wife left me' post in gen/discussion 'cause she's quite pissed since I still haven't finished the resto of my house! Aren't loved ones supposed to support you in times of weakness????
