Thanks a bunch, thats awesome to hear! I'm going to have to speak with a smog ref and discuss this idea further. I have the evap canister, purge valve and solenoid and hoses from the 2003 truck, but couldn't figure out how to connect it to the tank. I was told it had to have a new port installed, but if the fuel sending unit fits the way you say, thats awesome. How about the depth of the fuel sending unit? Does it run dry early? I'm switching to a baffled tank anyways, so if the camaro fuel sending unit is deep enough, I'm thinking that would work out nicely. My 79 doesn't have an in-tank pump, just the mechanical pump mounted on the side of the old 350, so I would have to wire it, what pump are you using and how did you wire it? Does the factory wire harness plug right into the camaro sender?

Pictures would be amazing, if you're in the mood
