How is the fit and finish of your hood? I'm probably going to tend to a little rust repair/paint touch-up on mine this spring/summer and contemplated getting a cowl or HD hood.

I've been looking at longtubes for mine as I have a cat on its way out and the price difference is about the same as a new catted "y" pipe. I have read, however, that to be prepared to have a few header studs to break off in the heads. They like to seize up in there and snap.
I prefit the hood. It was a little low in the back. I put one shim under one bolt on each side and it fixed it.

Got the bags installed. Haven't put a load on it yet.

I zip tied the bags to keep them folded and they slid right in with the weight off the wheels.



Back to original shape but not pressurized in pic. I put the weight back on the wheels before I put the air to it.
