The trans lines should be an easy fix. You can replace them for not much money.
The carrier bearing it a bit more involved but nothing you could not do with help from the board here or a friend that has done it before... If you are going to take apart the drive shaft I would replace the u joints at the same time, and maybe have the shaft balanced. I did not have mine balanced and it turned out fine, just mark it and put it back together the same way... Also get u joints like the originals with the grease fitting in the body and not in one of the cups...
I would think you could do the job yourself for under $200 and that would include all the parts and some of the tools like line wrenches and circlip pliers to do the job.
