The valve that you're looking for is getting harder to find in junk yards these days. You can also get by with an o-ring to flare adapter like this:

The short version of how to use it is to stick the adapter in the link above into the existing metric fitting in the LQ4 pump. Then the threads on your SAE hose are close enough that it will screw into the pump and seal on the adapter. I know it sounds goofy, but it works and it works well. The link above is for reference, but parts stores carry them as well since they're used in A/C systems to convert from flare to oring.
