#4 seems decent.
Honestly, despite the fact that I love modifying these things, I think that there is more money in a clean stock truck. If resale is on your mind, only do mods that can be easily undone because while dumping in a big block and 8 lug axles may seem cool and work for you, it will probably turn off a lot of buyers.
