C20 frames are taller.
292 dress (brackets etc) are different due to the taller block. Most of the accessories bolt to the head which is in a different position on the 250's.

I know you could get 292's in the 3/4 tons, as well as 250's. Not sure if you could get 292's in 1/2 ton but it seems likely. Somewhere out ther there is a frame mount that is a bolt in.
