put your knees behind the wheel and put as much pressure as you can against it, leave the nut on, for 2 reasons... so not to smack your face with the wheel, and so you don't smash the threads on the column..... smash the nut with a B.F.H. and the wheel might pop forward.... I have not used this method, since I have always had the puler, but I have heard it sometimes works....
