Grabbed a little more shop time and decided to move to the vertical gap on the transition from the front to the rear floor section. Gap is here because the original rear floor was Douglas Fir plywood and it was placed under the edge flanges in the rear. The new floor is of course on top of the flanges.

The center of the floor bowed down just a bit so I brought it up flat with a bottle jack underneath.

Didn't grab any pictures of the pieces I used to fill this. Basically it was two pieces of 16 gauge bent into 90 along the length...L.... Placed one on top of the floor with the edge pointing down and the other underneath with the edge pointing up and plug welded it all together.
