Be really careful about using an abrasive. Glass does scratch. I found out the hard way trying to clean a really dirty inside of a rear window of smokers residue and used a scotch brite pad with windex. My scrubbing was too much and permanently scratched the glass. (Luckily it was a 78 Fo#D Grenada) (Sorry my post doesn't agree useRc10, just my experience. It might be ok if you use it gently. I didn't.)

I gently use a razor blade to clean overspray on glass.
