That truck more than likely has been converted to a 3/4 or 4/4 ton truck with newer suspension and axels. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion, infact I have my original 1/2 ton short bed 4X4 GMC converted over using 3/4 ton axels and suspension from a mid to late 70's 3/4 ton 4X4. I wanted to build a truck that will handle the mud and bigger tires, and not concerned about originality or winning a trophy at a car show.
Sound like a good deal to me.
