There are a few spot welds that have to come out as well the front of the door bottom is double walled around the hinge area so be careful cutting up front or you can mess up bad real quick. one thing you need to watch for is angles or your door may look funny at the bottom against the fender and cab corner. I had to redo a lot of my bottom it seemed like it was too much material on one end and not enough on the other it that makes sense. That has been quite a few panels ago though.
Also, be careful, the doors that look good from the outside those doors [well all of those panels do] rust from the inside out. The General in his great wisdom did not have foresight to put rust preventative on the inside of any of these panels, you should look inside a "real nice" bedside. That is why I split open all of my sides and coat them with something to slow down this process if nothing else for my own piece of mind ,but That is a job I WOULD NOT recommend for a newbie to bodywork cause it climbs on up the difficulty meter.
