Set it as deep as you can....my old "chop top" , body dropped 69 is 1 " forward, from I6 spot? As deep as you are, cut or fold the pinch , on the trans tunnel (done that)! As said, as long as the heads/coil packs clear, you are good to go? Just "fit" it all, & call it done  Longhorn
