My '85 Jimmy came through with what people started calling sport mirrors. I always called them car mirrors, because that's pretty much what they are. From a real truck stand point they are about worthless because they are so small...mirrors are an important element in safe load hauling. From a looks stand point they look best because they are so small. I never could see much out of them, but with the high back buckets and being lifted I can't see chit! I have to turn my head to look around and through the seats before ever moving over to the right. Backing a trailer in when dark, forget it. If I didn't know where everything in my driveway was I couldn't back in at all. I have a pair of black (Dumbo) mirrors to go on and they will cover the old holes. The member I bought them from said there were no brackets in the doors when I asked him to look. They all used them and they are needed. I got some at a local junk yard
