Also ordered up a new HEI distributor, plugs and wires.
I went to the local pick-n-pull and got a junkyard version off a '77 nova with a 250 L6, but when I got it home and started to clean up I realized it had been "rebuilt" at some point in it's life, with missing capacitor hardware and a garbage rotor. I was so excited to actually have found one that I neglected to inspect it thoroughly. Sometime this week I'll be returning it for credit towards a hydroboost.
