how to relocate rear shocks

Here is a little modification I worked on yesterday. I want to improve my rear shock angle after the drop but I thought I would try to make the brackets myself. I started with a piece of scrap 2x4 rectangular 3/16 tubing 8" long and sectioned it diagonally so I have two pie shaped pieces. I then drilled the mounting holes and the shock hole to be a little higher and father back then the stock position. This new position set my shocks in the correct position and allowed me to use my stock size front shocks in the rear (with 5" spring drop). I also kept the stock bottom shock bracket. here are a few pics. Top is the new peice, bottom is the stock bracket.
