I asked the question before in your other post....Is the insurance company you are dealing with your insurance company or is it the lady who hit your truck and ran?
It seems to me her insurance company should be the one, but if she is uninsured, I guess it would then fall to yours.
Your lawyer should be contacting the lady who hit your truck, if her insurance company is giving you the low settlement.
