Great to see a family involved in a build

Yesterday I talked about a broken bolt in the carrier, this is my solution to get it repaired. I drilled the broken bolt out, made new thread just milimeter thicker, from 7/16" (11 mm) to M12 metric



The bracket is hold by the two (!!) bolts, that at his turn holds the lower control arm. The bolt on the right I've made, the bolt on the left is from Jag.

Here you can clearly see the difference in size:



When you bolt everything together it looks like this:



Put some new paint on it, just because I can



While I was at it, I could, at the same time, move the diff permanently to his new home, so I did:



Tonight I cleaned the lower control arms and mounted them on the diff. Also gave them some shiny black paint. Unfortunately no pics of them, because I forgot to take all my digital stuff....
