Just two thousend to go, more or less....

Just got back of a few hours work, nothing much done...
Welded the shockmounts on the subframe:



Also made an extra gusset at the front side of the subframe, 'cause you never know



Took a pic of the rear that I promised you:



Calipers next, then the half shafts and shocks...almost ready!!

Back to the front, I have a broken bolt on the lower control arm, I drilled it out.



Here you see the broken bolt, it's a 3/8" unf, 5 grade. Difficult to come by overhere. Searched on the net what I could use to have the same strenght, looks like your grade 5 is the same as our 8.8 bolts...
That makes it a lot easier to repair the bolt holes.
I think I drill them all to metric M10, also is mounting the springpan a lot easier to do
Then I can use 4 threaded bars to get the spring at his place, instead of one thread through the middle...
We'll see...
