Bagged trucks (done right) ride smoother than any truck (new or old) that I have been in. Invest in a good shock and you will be happier regardless of bagged or not. Look at No Limit's relocation kit for their shocks.

You don't need to swap crossmembers. What drop spindles did you get? You can get disc breaks for them.

Is your truck a trailing arm set up? You can swap all your springs for bags and run a simple Schrader set up. Wont cost much but you cant adjust on the fly. Way2low2 has cheap kits, AZProperformance can get you set up for cheap too.
